It can be difficult or impossible for your treating doctors to safely make changes to your medications if you do not have an accurate current list with you at the time of your appointment.

How To Record Your Medical Details on Your iPhone

iPhone IOS 15

  • Open the Health app
  • Click on your photo in the top right corner
  • Fill in your Health Details
  • Fill in your Medical ID including:
    • Medical Conditions
    • Allergies & Reactions
    • Medications (follow the Healthy Hearts Melbourne format)
      • Drug Name  |  Brand Name  |  Dose  |  When
    • Weight (important for calculating doses of emergency drugs)
    • Height (important for calculating doses of emergency drugs)
  • Emergency Contacts
    • Emergency Contact details can be set to show when the phone is locked
    • If you set up Emergency SOS, these contacts can receive an emergency SMS including your location.
  • Enable "Show When Locked" so that Ambulance Officers have immediate access to these details
